Minister

 Creighton & Debbie Beatty

On June 3rd, 2007 Creighton Beatty came on board as minister at Burlington Christian Church. Creighton is 50 and was raised near Savannah, Georgia in a little town called Pooler. After he graduated from Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, NC he was ordained into the ministry in 1979. Creighton has ministered in Covington Virginia, Salisbury Maryland, Martinsville Virginia, and West Jefferson North Carolina prior to ministering at Burlington Christian Church.

Creighton is married to Debbie Beatty and has two sons. His oldest son Craig, graduated from Johnson Bible College located in Knoxville, Tennessee in May of 2008. Craig is married to Lindsay Maple and works at Rainbow Christian Camp in Indiana. Chad, Creighton's youngest son, works for Home Depot in Knoxville.

Creighton enjoys preaching, teaching in homes, as well as just having fun with God's people. Creighton also enjoys bicycling in Alamance county and surrounding areas. His wife Debbie loves baking delicious deserts and using Creighton as a guinea pig for new dishes. Creighton is excited to be in Burlington for what he calls his adventure of faith. Creighton looks forward to sharing Christ, helping people grow in their faith, leading Christians who have fallen away from their spiritual walk by showing them a way back to the Lord, and helping others realize that God wants them in His kingdom. He and Debbie live in Graham where they enjoy their neighbors in the Valley Field subdivision. He is looking forward to ministering to folks in this area who are looking for ways to serve God and others who are, maybe, for the first time "giving God a chance".
